Hello,
I just found this watch, forgotten for 40 years.
After google for it I got really fascinated by all the folks who love this brand.
Can someone identify the model, the manufacturing year, etc?
Do you know how much would it cost to completely restaure it?

Hello again,
I have now spent quite a few interesting hours browsing this forum.
And I learned a lot!
Mine is an entry level gold plated dress watch.
But the sentimental value is good enough.
Can anyone recomend a watch maker in Portugal? Or elsewhere. I would send it Over.

Nice watch!
I wouldn’t say entry level for this one since it has a Seapearl case, which means it has a SuperCompressor case!

But I’m a bit confused regarding the engravings on the back that says “VAPS”!

Never seen “V” before but “A” means Automatic, “P” stands for Plated and “S” means a sweeping second.
It should maybe have been a “B” as well there and that stands for a bayonet Seapearl case!

But you never know for sure about the these engravings from Enicar!!

I would recommend @HorologyBiology regarding service!

It was "waterproof" at the time. You use the proper caseback opener but it snaps back in.
