What Enicar (Seapearl?) model is this?

Hello!

Can someone please tell me what model it is and when it was approximately built?

It’s a manual wind model, on the back "Sherpa" and "Seapearl" is engraved. Please see photos #1 and #2 for details.

This watch has a long story … I inherited it from my grandfather. It is still in a very good condition, working well, and I just put a new leather strap on it (see photos #1 and #2), the old watch strap was also a "racing" style in poor condition (see photo #3).

I have been searching on Google and Chrono24 for a long time but haven‘t been able to find any similar Enicar watch so far.

Thank you very much and best regards!

It looks like a Sherpa (non-date) model. I agree with Slim that the dial has had its details (finish/paint/markings) removed. Might be able to find a replacement dial. They are very good watches with bayonet case back and excellent movements. I have several myself.

But all the markings are intact, correctly placed and in good shape. Also the logo looks nice. So I do not think the dial has been treated somehow.

I think that the dial was originally painted. I assume that the Enicar lettering is raised (cannot be seen in the photo) and has therefore been preserved.
The markings for the minutes and the other lettering (Ultrasonic, Sherpa,...) were also removed with the lacquer.
I also don't think the dial is polished or has a uniform finish, but is rather scratched.

Can't comment on the finish as the photos are not in HD. Never seen a Diver (compressor case) with no/zero/ziltch markings. No minute markings, no "Ultrasonic", etc. It looks like a "Sherpa" dial that has had all its finish removed.
