Absolutely correct but wrong crown and polished caseback by the looks of it.

Looks like there may not be anything left to read on the back.

However; the date stamp seems to indicate the back is original.

FYI, there is a Mark IV case with tachy ring for sale in pretty good condition on Ebay with an S/N 1261650

Case looks a bit pitted though . . .

Wonder what happened to the rest of the watch?
