Just documenting this one . . .

Perhaps Nico does not have 940812?

This watch is in especially good condition overall with an especially fine case, case back, and dial. The central minutes and hours hands and subdial hands have rust. This watch has he potential to be a 9 out of 10 with a new handset.

It was listed for $8,900.00 and the seller accepted an offer for less and sold it in a day.

Good to see solid interest and pricing, given it appears the market has softened of late.

Do you know the seller?

It is probable that he was offered more for it but eBay don't show that with the auction listings, they just default to what the starting price was.

No.

It had a "Buy it Now" price of $8,900.00 and it sold for less.

Anyone could have purchased the watch for $8.900.00

The way you can tell that it sold for less is that the price has a strike-out and the indication "Best Offer Accepted."

$8,900.00

If I had to guess - purely a guess - I'd say the seller accepted an offer of $8,500.00, or perhaps $8.750.00.

But it could have also been $1.30! :)

My bad, I thought it was an auction start price when I saw it as they have best offer options too until someone bids

I'm not as anal as you on these eBay listings 😂

Nobody is!! I think of myself as a fairly crafty ebayer, but Joe is at a whole different level.

$8900 gives the seller netto $7900. Talk to the seller , offer $7900 , he accepts $1000 officially on eBay and you pay the $1000 and privately transfer the balance , $6900 via bankwire. Everybody wins.

Condition, condition, condition though.

Still, a nice watch for a good price.

I can't make out the serial number. Does it look to be as expected?
