I think I just crossed a line in my Enicar collecting. I bought a bitsa Guide because it had a fair condition early cities bezel. Sedation required for sure but possibly restraints as well would be a good idea...

The bezel is going to my recently purchased, Enicar in Saturn logo, Mk1 Guide. The bitsa is a late Guide so no loss there.

It's sometimes the only way to get parts together for an Enicar. I'm always keeping my eye open for a bitsa guide or jet so I can get an 1146 movement.
Would be good to see your guide when you fit the bezel.

Bitsa: colloquial abrev. of "bits of". Example: It's made up of bitsa this and bitsa that.
Yeah, and my guess is there are a lot of bitsa's around the last years 🤓.
Lookin' for ages for a movement and hands for my shortlugged Guide, I was kindly offered an older model, working but without pointer ring.
But I can't live very well with a "bitsa", the older movement is not the one I'd use in a NOS mk4, and the mk4 pointer ring is too orange to complete the older case..... So -
Thanks for providing the perfect name for this kind of 'problem' 😜
