Help with identity and authenticity?

New to forum hoping for more info on identity and authenticity of a watch my father gave me. I think its a 2165/39/80 but images and search results show only 2165/40 (not sure the difference) and the others seem to be a combo of silver+gold colour vs mine is all silver. Would this be something authentic and decently valuable to pass down to my son when the time comes? vs a knockoff don't even bother. Thanks in advance!

Why do you think it's a 2165/40/80? The engraving on the back clearly says 2165-39-80V.
