Enicar Factory

On a trip to Zurich, so had a drive down to Lengnau last week to find the old Enicar factory. Glad I finally got there and took my Sherpa Jet Graph back to where it started life in 1969. But sad to see the factory that created so many beautiful watches lying empty and virtually disused.

Is the building being used for anything at all or is it completely empty?

It's not empty. Atlantic Watches run out of there now. I had a tour in there a few year back. It's great inside as they kept a lot of the original Enicar features like brass door handles with the Saturn logo embossed on them.

I had my first, sherpa guide, my second, ultra dive, and third, sherpa graph mk 111, All serviced in the mid 70's. still have them and the pro-forma invoices for the 3 from Enicar.

Hmm...., Door Brass Handles with the Saturn Logo embossed .... When are you there the next time ? Bring a blue Work Apron and a few Tools ....
