Just bought this watch on Ebay. I hope I didn't make a mistake. If the serial number is correct, it apeaars to be a MK 3, but I don't think the dial is correct. Can anyone enlighten me on this one? Thanks!

First congrats to a great watch!

I think the dial looks great but might be for a MKII B or a transition one cause as I understand it the subdials on a MKIII with black dial where either black or gray but never silver…

The crown might be wrong too on your watch since it misses the crossed hatch pattern.

All of this is easily fixed but it could be hard to find a correct MKIII dial…

MKIII with silver dial is also correct. Some of the earliest MK III have them. I guess transitionale phase. Comes all down to the serial, which I cant see in the offer, but I bet you will provide after arrival Congrats to the buy!

The serial number is 835938. Also isn't the writing on the inside of the case back different than other MKIIIs?

Nice watch for a good price even if it's somewhat of a frankenwatch or not anyhow I paid more than twice that for my Mark 3 and I like it but the prices are going down that's for sure foreshadowing a recession coming
