Enicar Buckle Situation

Hi All ! First of - just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a fairly new Enicar enthusiast (having focused on vintage Heuer primarily for the past several years) - and I must say, I'm becoming quickly obsessed!

I'm so encouraged there is such a vibrant community and a great forum site behind this amazing brand! I've already added a Super Jet Mk 1 and a Sherpa Ops - and yeah, I'm ABSOLUTELY in love. This brand seems to speak me on level that many of my Heuers have not. Really surprised and delighted so far.

As I get up to speed I'm afraid I may post a few 'newbie' questions that I'm sure have been covered in the past - so I hope everyone doesn't mind.

The first big question I have is around authentic Enicar buckles. Looking around eBay and elsewhere the VERY FEW I have found seem to primarily be 14mm buckles (or smaller) - which seems odd to me as most of my vintage Heuer 'Sun' buckles are almost always 16mm (with many Heuer 'B' buckles available and some even at 18mm)- and most modern straps seem to only taper to 16mm at the smallest end.

Just curious if Enicar ever went larger than 14mm at the buckle? Also - would love any tips on where to find Enicar buckles for my new pieces (and I'm sure SEVERAL MORE to come).

Thanks, everyone - and so excited to be joining this amazing community!!!!

-Eddie
