I think you got some pretty good help at the facebook groups. Can you share the backside of the watch? The reference number that you can find there can give us information about the age. When you open it, with some luck there is a mark inside the caseback with a date as well. I would say around 1964 is a pretty good estimate.

here you go, Reference 126/001, (case) build in July 1963. Movement looks nice and clean!

Somebody told me in FB group that the model is a Sherpa Guide 33 (Ref. 146/001) Mk II is that correct?

No, its clearly on your caseback: 126/001. 126 or 146 referes to the movement, the Cal.1126 or 1146 (which came later). 33 is correct and refers to the amount of jewels in the movement. you see the corresponding "33 Jewells" on the rotor of the movement.
MK II ...maybe :D I dunno of any good Sherpa Guide Classification. For me the MK II would have paddle hands.

Much appreciated is it worth keeping it?

Should you keep it? Of fricken course! Lovely watches. Beautiful on the wrist though perhaps dangerously distracting at times. My watchmaker had a stunned look on his face after overhauling my 126/001. Even better, yours is a bit worn so you can wear and enjoy it with no feeling of dread lest it be scratched.

I have found the Guide 33s to have a more varied spec than the "regular" Guides. Don't be too quick to think they need parts replaced to make them "original".

It appears you have a Supertest movement. If there's a serial number on the movement, then you have the top of the line model.

One of the dented wheels reads supertest, where do I look for the serial number engraving? Thanks in advance…
