Seems to be pretty common!

This one has the rare tachy made for film makers and the lovely big logo of the Mark I's. Cracking watch other than the caseback and the price is on the high side but it is a very rare variant.

What should the case back be? A Mark3?

The watch would be expected to be a Mark Ib or Mark Ic, 1961 or 1962 with a "cloverleaf" style case back, reference 1308 BaNCH.

The transition from the large integrated Enicar name and Saturn logo to a small applied Saturn logo began with the Mark Id in June of 1962, 6-62 inside the case back.

The watch has a Mark IIa case back with a 601xxx serial number.

Mat's is a Mark III but it's the only one I've seen with 50 increments. Could be that these were made on request by Enicar? Who knows. These so few of these, it's difficult to draw any conclusions.

Yes it’s a strange one. I’ve seen them on the 1, 2 and 3.

Like Steve mentioned mine is the only one I’ve seen where the top row of numbers increase in 50s rather than 45.

I was wondering if this was some kind of early frame rate difference between east and west similar to Pal and NTSC 🤷🏻‍♂️
