This is from the "new" Enicar company in China that took over the brand after the original closed in Switzerland, still a good quality watch with probably an ETA 2836 inside

The watch is 100% "newer" Enicar I.E. it has a 2836 ETA swiss movement not Enicar "in house" movement, the watch and all the engravings are correct, just because watches come forom India or China does not mean they are ALL non genuine, worth every penny of $100 , well made good quality...
I had my first, sherpa guide, my second, ultra dive, and third, sherpa graph mk 111, All serviced in the mid 70's. still have them and the pro-forma invoices for the 3 from Enicar.
Good, as Jim said, this is one of the later Enicars with an ETA movement but shown with an Enicar stamp AR. it is genuine just not with an earlier in house enicar movement
Thank goodness for that, I was initially sure it was genuine enicar as I had a few many yrs ago and was doubting myself and the AR on the movement confirms it. great. Maybe not in house AR but still an original Enicar.
It says ETA so must be after the factory closed, but, one of the earlier "new" enicars and still a nice watch tohave / wear. could we see the movement ?

I have swiss watches with arabic/english german/english Italian/English etc, they were made in Switzerland for foreign markets, was normal practise prob to cut down on costs.
Well, whilst I and my deceased brother started 50 yrs enjoying Enicar purely because we liked them it's not all about Enicar you know, the multiple watch fans that collect or just enjoy their favourite brands are interested in the excellent V72 , I was not going to get my watchmaker to dismantle...
