1950's 37mm Champagne dial A-R1292

I just picked this large dial example up and had a strap made to suit my tastes (I actually had it made the same colour as a classis car I own!) The watch has an A-R 1292 movement and having had a recent service seems to be running perfectly. There is also an EZR stamp on the movement which I have read elsewhere as indicating that it was for US import?The dial is showing just enough patina for me... a bit of discolouration and a few spots which only add to the overall look in my eyes. I absolutely love it!

Does anybody else have the same model or any information on it by any chance? I can only find a few pictures of this dial design online, most of which have a stainless finish.

I have a ‘68 Lotus Europa S1 and a ‘69 Lotus Seven S3 myself but no matching watch straps. I do have a Heuer Rally Master in the Europa though.

Nice! I had a Sport160 for about 18 years but would love an early Climax Elite. Great engines. I love the turquoise metallic on the Stiletto which is why I matched the strap. Looking forward to wearing it whilst driving the car now, well, in the summer!
