Another update - I’d still love any insight into this watch or the movement from anyone that can help. I’ve given the case a “sympathetic once-over”, removing some of the worst pitting and damage, but leaving the character. Full clean and service. Sadly she is struggling with too much end shake...
Slight update- found a watchmaker’s mark on the dial side indicating it’s an a.r. 184 and managed to source a balance. Can’t find much info on this movement; anyone know when this movement started being manufactured?
