Super Jet

Pricewise the Graphs and the OPS might be top notch nowadays, but I really loce the 1st version cases of the 'Super' series, be it the Super Dive or the Super Jet. After 5 years of searching I finished the 'Super Dive' quest, and it took me another 6 years to finally source a Jet that suited my taste. As always right after finding one example, another one popped up.

Here we go with the black version. Attached is a filed-down solid third party BoR which nicely balances the watch:

It's silver brother is still at the watchmaker and will be shown when it arrives back in full working order ...

Beautiful watch . . .

I prefer the Super Jet to the Jet Graphs.

The internal bezel appeals to me over the external bezel which tends to get beat up.

I was fortunate to find one, thanks to a recommendation in our forum - with an original BoR bracelet in excellent condition:

Beautiful Super Jets! I am glad Joe_A is enjoying the recommendation I gave him. I have one from 1967 but on a tropic strap with Enicar buckle, but would love to get an original Enicar stretch bracelet. Are those quite rare? I have only seen 2 before so far that match the 20mm lug width found on Enicar 40mm Sherpa sports watches.
