Extremely rare is this Enicar Sherpa Graph ‘Mark 1A’, you'll be one lucky collector if it lands on your wrist. Our present Enicar Sherpa Graph features a faded patina black dial with contrasting white subdials, one of the first companies to execute this infamous look. Also known as Jim Clark...
I allready tried to correct him on Instagram. The mk1a of course has no ties with Jim Clark and there are also no pics known. The mk1a has the nickname „Stirling Moss“, cause he got one from Enicar mid 1960 and was photographed with it. Btw it was the only occasion he was wearing it
Some of Jim Clark’s mechanics got this reference in 1963 for the success in the championship, but Jim Clark himself was allways wearing a mk1b with grey-white dial.
It was unsold in the Watches of Knightsbridge sale in June last year against a £2500-4000 estimate, where several other Sherpa Graphs sold (I thought quite cheaply)on the lower estimates, and it’s now £10k, that says something!
