Patina… is this early 50’s?

This is a recent purchase. I am an all in patina guy and I couldn’t resist this dial. The numerals, hands and printed logo all suggest a date of around 1950 to me, as does the 15jewels movement. It hasn’t arrived through the post yet, but any thoughts on an accurate date for this and what movement should I expect? It’s quite large too. 36mm diameter without the crown.

Cheers all,

Martin

I should also add that it has a smooth case back.

Vandervenus has viewed it and dates it as from the 1940's.

The numerals are art deco - 30s style - and the dial seems to be in the style of a 1950s racing chronometer. Presumably art deco numerals went out of style by the 50s, so 40s sounds right. Trust Vandervenus!

Although I'm a prissy patina princess, that's a sweet piece. Big size for its day too. I hope you share more pics when she arrives.
