Decent little Sport, but what is the story with the engravings on the back? H•S^II for Hydrographic Service 2 with Broadarrow and issue number would seem to indicate a British Navy deck watch which clearly this is not. Does the engraving mean something else? Or is it just a fraudulent attempt to militarize a civilian watch? I’d be very happy to hear your opinions. Thanks!
