Morning all

Recent arrival to these great forums from western Victoria in Australia

I have owned an Ocean Pearl in blue since the seventies, put it away maybe sometime back then and life continued. No idea wherethe band went either sadly, probably stupidly used it on another long gone watch.

Anyway. I need this lovely watch brought back, it isn’t working and when I shake the watch I can hear movement inside. So where can I get this serviced - by someone reputable who can replace the parts and source a new band. And hopefully polish or replace the crystal.

When I brought this watch out recently I rediscovered my love for this brand.

Hi Gazza. Have you checked out any watchsmiths in Perth ? I imagine a city that size would have someone who could service your watch and polish up the plexi.
Can you post a couple photos

I certainly will. I’m in Victoria so hadn’t considered Perth.

Welcome
I'm in Sydney and I had my Super Dive serviced by https://www.horologist.com.au/ here. I supplied a mainspring from my parts collection and fortunately it didn't need any other parts.
Movement parts are available but hard to come by and you may need to source them yourself.

That's a lovely piece Gazza and it would be great to see it restored. I do fear that any servicing costs will be higher than the watch is worth, so you'll be paying purely for the sentimental value. Which ok, just wanted to point it out :)

Yeah it’s sentimental value only but I’m content with that.

Thanks superdive, I’ll contact them and see!
