My first Enicar.

Hi guys just brought my first Enicar, i am a year into the hobby and try to do all my own servicing/repairs. i have the Ar1145 movement but the crown is poor at best i have found a parts list but it doesnt give the part number for the crown? can any one point me at one or the part number thanks.

Welcome!

Different models with the same movement may have different crowns depending on the application. Could you post some photos of the watch? Also, what are the dimensions of the crown and its thread size?

Its the 144 39 10 Ocean pearl the crown is so badly worn im not sure it original? the tap is .9 mm height 2.8 die 4.8 cant send pics just now the case is in the ultrasonic.

You can search ebay for "Enicar crown" and lots come up, including ones to your spec. Can be hard to judge if they are waterproof crowns, or just dust proof. Regardless, you will not be able to make the watch water proof again as all Enicar crowns are at least 50 years old.

Thanks i did find one in Finland i think. since i could not say for sure mine is the right crown i was just trying to make sure. Ive done a few services mostly Seiko Roamer and a few others but one year in ive still got loads to learn.
