Beautiful watch - I believe I'm following your auction on eBay. Out of my price range, but hope to add something like it back into my collection at some point soon.

Thx for reaching out. Much appreciated. Yep, it’s a great watch. Letting go of it because I have got another one. Therefore happy to let go of it, depending what would be “in your budget”? Brgds, Cornelius

To be realistic, about half your list price! Recent true auctions of Sherpas Guides have been ending closer to the $1-1.25k USD range. Given that this is missing the beads of rice bracelet and maybe the red city inner aluminum bezel insert I'd want to be closer to that level. However, given the fact that you have overhauled this and serviced, and that amazing patina on the dial, I'd be interested around $1,500 USD. I recognize the huge gap between where the auctions are ending, and where the retailers in Japan and Europe are posting their "Buy it now" prices.

I catch your drift, but fair to note that 9 out of 10 (if not 99 out of 100) have a black rather than a champagne/pearl dial. That being said, I agree that US$1500-1700 would be a fair price range for a serviced black dialed Guide. So, if that’s your budget you have plenty of choice to go for. However, I am sorry but it won’t do if you are looking for a 1 out of 100. I hate beating around the bush, so I’ll give you my best price straight up: 2300EUR aka 2400USD. Just let me know. Thx. Cornelius

Thanks Cornelius! I appreciate a straight be best offer, and wanted to do the same. Good luck the the sale, and I’m cheering for you! Also, I know you to be a reputable seller thanks to the positive feedback of past transactions here. I posted more about it in the other forum, but here is the one I regret selling back in 2021 on the bay.
