First Post. Can anyone identify this watch?

Hello. I am new on this forum and I am hoping someone knows anything about this watch. All I can say about it is my father-in-law got the watch as a 21st birthday present in December 1958. I am fairly sure it was second hand as they lived off the land in Hampshire and literally lived from hand to mouth. I assumed it was a ladies watch as it is only 33mm across the face, including the crown and I'm guessing his parents just got him what they could afford.
Ideally my wife would like to get it restored so she can wear it. Is it something that can be restored without spending a small fortune? No doubt restoration would cost more than it is worth but for my wife its a lovely little watch and has a lot of sentimental value.
If anyone can help I'd be really grateful.

It's wasn't a ladies watch. Watches were smaller back then, not like the gargantuans of recent times. Ask around for a watchmaker who works on older watches. Most likely a simple service will get it running happily again.
