Cannot find this enicar,and its driving me nuts

Looks like a normal SuperTest to me. Nice watch. The 33 jewel is a bit silly as three of the jewels are just sitting in the movement doing nothing.

Someone is charging me €493, to fix this for me, I think thats a little to much. Is this watch worth spending that kind of money ?

Seems high but what are they replacing? It is not unusual to need to buy a parts watch when repairing Enicars.

Gazza is right, Morendhel. That is unless they are sourcing parts for you. Your watchmaker should itemise what they are doing to your watch. If they don't keep you in the loop and/or are not sourcing new parts for this kind of money, you need to find a new watchmaker.

i would, politely, say Gazza may be right.

You need to ask your watch maker what is up. You may find they are having to buy a parts watch to do the overhaul. 33J Enicars are not cheap or common. I have had watches overhauled for $250 and other, similar watches for $1250. It all depends on what is required.
