WTB Sherpa Graph

Goodmorning everyone,
I am a new member who has become very passionate about the models of this brand which until recently was unknown to me.
It can be said that I am a beginner ...
I would like to give myself a gift and I would think about Sherpa Graph.
I studied a few photos on the web and the models that impressed me the most are MK I and MK II, but I must say that the MK III model is also beautiful.
Surely my choice will also be influenced by the price since unfortunately I don't have an unlimited budget.
Generally the white and gray dials are my favorites.
I would like to know about anyone planning to sell one or if they can help me find it.

Thank you all for your attention.

Cheers

One has to stand in line for a very long time waiting for an opportunity for a gray and white.

Sometimes one can miss seeing one in time to acquire one even in one's own neighborhood . . . by an hour or two. ;-)

Thanks Joe_A,

as I explained in the opening of the thread I am not an expert.
I saw an ad in the "Trading Post" section of a white dialed MK I d about a week ago, so I didn't think I happened to be at a special event.

Anyway thanks for your reply :)

I did not mean to be overly discouraging . . .

All of the Sherpa Graphs are pretty rare or hard to find in very good to excellent condition. Reverse panda Mark IIIs and Mark IVs pop up a bit more often than the all white which do pop up from time to time.

In the last few years of hunting for a gray with white subdials, I have only seen and missed just one.

Hi Joe_a,
any information for me at this time is important so I gladly read the comments of the forumers.
My request is perhaps too general, in fact your comments are useful to understand if my desire is concretely achievable or if it is a chimera.
As I said in the first message also reverse panda mk III are beautiful and I could "be satisfied" ...

Joe is right, the grey-white one, also known as Jim Clark, is one of the rarest Graphs of all. In fact, its rarer then the MK1a, at least until today. I just have 7 of these in my list (from MK1b to d). For comparison, we know 28 MK Ia's ;)

Juist recently a grey-white one changed hands, but yes, these opportunities are super rare as well.

Good Luck in finding your watch,

Nico

If I read the above correctly, you have recorded 28 out of 500 Mark Ia watches assumed to have been produced. These would all be reverse panda dialed watches.

Out of a total of 1,700 potential combined Mark I b,c &d that are assumed to have been made, you have records for only 7 in the gray variety with white subdials.

Did I get that right?

I am only looking for one gray/white, not two like Steve Harris needs! :)

Nico, it would be very interesting to me and perhaps other Enicaristi, if you would provide a breakdown of the 374 watches accounted for, perhaps in a section on your site, by model and dial color.

It is probably a bit of work.

I'm not too shy to ask though. ;)

I think I can do that without mentioning the serials. Problem is not posting it once, but maintaining those lists. I Allready have several of these “pieces” with continual updates ;)
