I've been offered these two watches by a lovely chap who is clearly an Enicar lover. Both have been used well over decades and I have every reason to believe they are original and that the seller is trust worthy. Still, purely as a precaution, I thought it best to run it by the more experienced collectors on here for your thoughts.

I won't ask how much I should expect to pay for these but if you feel like you have thoughts to share on this subject, please DM me. I'd be very grateful.

Thanks in advance!

Please send me the pics and if possible serials. As of today, I just have one potential candidate in my list. This Watch is in a Range, where you just would find double lollipops. My conclusion would be, the hands were changed .
But as allways, I am happy to learn more ;)

Jim,

I think I already provided details to you via Email of my Ultradive with red lollipop seconds hand.

Here are a few more photos off of Instagram and forums which clearly show the red lollipop seconds hand.

My guess is that there are several iterations of the Ultradive (i.e. Mk 1, Mk 2, etc.) with some models bearing the red lollipop vs the double lollipop.

My Ultradive is NOS condition and my guess is that it came with the red lollipop seconds hand originally.

thanks, noted. Still, without the serials I can't say how these will fit in the overal picture. Yours seem to be the one in my list, I am talking about ;) What I noticed too, the minute hand is different.

another remark: The initially posted UD is different to the ones you showed. Late bezel, baton hands. Here I would strongly expect the orange triangle second hand.

Yes I agree. The photo of the Ultradive in the original thread seems to have the seconds hand replaced. The last Ultradives made had a neon orange timing ring and later Enicar hour, seconds hands. This leads me to hypothesize that Ultradives with the red lollipop models and older style hour and minute hand markers seem to be earlier iterations of the Ultradive; perhaps a Mk 1 or Mk 2. Hopefully once a sizeable number of serial numbers is compiled, it will paint a clearer picture.

Jim, I've sent you the serial # via DM. Looks like we've learnt that red lollipops are indeed a thing. Would be good to know the serial # range they appear in before I presume anything about modification.
