Super Jet With Original Box?

Here is my newly acquired MK II Super Jet that came from a gentleman in Italy. It was apparently his father's watch and came with the original bracelet and box. I don't know much about the boxes at that time but this seems to be at least Era correct, as it's clearly very old. I don't have any idea whether it's correct for this model, and I suspect this was a Japan watch because of the rivet bracelet. So maybe that info would help in determining whether this is the original box.

I plan on eventually servicing this Super Jet, but it's running well so it'll be on my wrist! The crowns are a little stiff because of old gaskets that are in place, but otherwise, it's perfect.

Very nice watch and bracelet!

Looking at the logo on the inside of the box, I’d say the box is probably from an earlier period.

Here’s a nice article by Martijn regarding the evolution of the logo: https://enicar.org/2017/12/08/signs-of-saturn-the-transition-of-the-enicar-logo/amp/

The box has the earlier “Fase 2” style logo, the watch has the later “Fase 3” style logo.

Great observation! I didn't even think of that. If this did come with the watch it would have been an older stock box. I'll have to keep researching.

An interesting observation I made about the bracelet is that it has both logos. On the outside of the clasp it has the fase 2 logo but on the inside its stamped with the fase 1 logo and "stainless steel".
