So I'm about to pull the trigger on this Super Jet and I want to get your opinions. To me it looks completely original for a 33, mk I.

What do you guys believe the value should be considering it is running but not recently serviced? Thanks!!

Looks very nice to me though I am on my phone, not my desktop. The back especially looks to be free from the usual gouges from trying to open it without the correct tool.

Here’s a link to a similar watch:

Google “Enicar 146/003” for other examples.

Price? I can’t help you there other than to say they are going up. Enicar is now an “it” brand and mainstream collectors are looking to add an example or two to their collections. The $3800 asked in the above link seems outrageous to me but it may also be the new norm.

Just one thing to wary of, parts are becoming increasingly difficult to source and there are not any new parts being made. If you are buying watches as investments (not my thing but I don’t judge) you need to be careful about actually using the watch. If something goes wrong, you might be a long time looking for replacement parts. If you can’t find parts, then your investment will depreciate significantly.

Thanks for the reply. I wish hodinkee dated their listing because I have no idea when that was from. It looks like a pristine example so not a bad price today. I've seen several listed for over 5k and some near 6k. Not that they are going to sell for that necessarily.

I'm used to scarce parts as I've collected vintage Seiko for the last 5 years. It can be tough for sure!

Can anyone tell me if this is a replacement crystal for this super jet? I believe it is but just curious to know your thoughts.

Thanks for the reply. Yes. It looks like the original has a very flat top. Do you know if they're available anywhere?

Never seen a NOS one.
But there's a guy from portugal ooh made new crystals for the ENICAR Sherpa Guide und some other ENICARs...

.

I'll definitely check that out. I see that someone is selling new crystals for the Graph. I think those are 36mm so not sure if they're the same size as the Super Jet. The profile on these looks a little closer to the original.
