Hi Folks, watch is currently in for a service and replacement crystal. It has a missing lower pusher which is causing a problem finding a replacement. I've also asked for a new crown. Not sure what happened to the original, lost in the mists of time. But the guy its with seems to think he can locate another but maybe not an Enicar. Once I get it back I'll post some pictures. No particular reason I bought an Enicar other than I was 18 and finally has some money and wanted to treat myself to something nice. Saw a picture of it in a magazine and loved it so bought one. It always got plenty of remarks. But I never really thought it was anywhere in the same league as a Rolex. Turns out its got almost the same Valjoux movement (a 724 rather than the Rolex 72) as their Daytona's from the same period. I did manage to source a new crystal so that's been fitted. I spent a lot of time in Switzerland, because my daughter has lived there for many years. And I've been on trips to see the big watch factories. When my watch is returned I'm going to Lengnau to take a picture of it outside the now-defunct Enicar factory. And I do have Martijn Van Der Ven's excellent book about the firm's history.

Then fingers crossed for the service and looking forward to the results. Let us know if your watchmaker can find a crown or not. It should be original and maybe someone here can help with an original one.

I have seen several Jet Graph crowns on the bay recently while searching for a Sherpa Graph (MKIV) crown.

I regularly pay $150 to $250 for Enicar compressor crowns, and that's when I can find them. Some like the OPS are available fairly cheap if you look but most others, not a chance.

Do you know where to find the correct crystal? I am having a hard time locating one for the Jet Graph.
