Sherpa Guide Bracelet

Hay guys
Take a look at this Enicar bracelet. I have had one of these bracelets sitting about for a long time and have only ever seen this one picture showing it fitted to a Sherpa Guide. The end pieces certainly fit the Guide case perfectly having the same curvature as the original beads of rice. Anybody shed any light if this was fitted to the guide

Was it perhaps a choice when buying new to upgrade as it is a bit more substantial being solid links rather than the normal folded links on BOR braclet giving it a heavier presence.

Wow. That's one of the coolest Enicar bracelets I've ever seen. How does it wear?

Very sharp Guide you have there by the way.

Random question: Is the internal ring white or silver? Often the camera captures this ring white.

I think both are known. Earlier is most likely silver, on later ones its white.

Yes indeed. I have seen the black-and-pure white ring mostly on MK2s -- this black/white ring has a tiny dot beneath the numerals.

The black/silver ring does not have the dot (that I have seen), and the typeface is ever so slightly chunkier in the 23/24 area. I've seen the black/silver ring on early MK1s and MK3s... though I haven't been able to verify if it's the same ring or if they made modifications to the ring between MKs.

In a lot of pictures the black/silver ring tends to appear "white"...

Because they didn't have a clear cut between MKs, I'm always curious to learn if the black-and-white ring appears on Guides other than the MK2s.

It's hard to tell based on photographs ;)

That's very interesting.

So in the first pic the ring is white?

And in the second it's silver?

...

I've never found a genuinely white/black ring without the dot under the numbers. And similarly I've never seen a black/silver ring with a dot.

P.S. Dibs on the MK1 :ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO::LOL:

This looks perfect on the Guide. Even better than the beads-of-rice bracelet I think.

The Guide and bracelet in the picture are not mine but one I saved from the net 10 plus years ago, using it to see if anyone recognises the bracelet as one that would be fitted to a Guide by Enicar at point of sale. I do have a NOS bracelet so just trying to find out what it would have been fitted to
