Sherpa Graph with blue tele dial ?

Has anyone seen a black dial Sherpa Graph with a slightly blueish grey teledial before ?

Nope, and I think the tachy scale is a) from a later one or b) from one of the cheaper sisters like "Milion" and all the other brands. Its not matching the age of the other parts.

Hi Kazrich,
There are at least 5 examples know with the same writing and setting of the bezzle in different colors with exact that dial and configuration. I know not a single Million, Itraco, Schild, Jean Perret... Which has a similar writing like this Graph. Almost all have tachymetre 300 (i would tend to say all, because i don't remember a different one).
So i am Sure it is legit but the bezzle has damage (maybe water or something).
Might be a good Deal!

You should show the 5 other ones. The square instead of points below the numbers is clearly not a sign of early 60s Sherpa Graphs. The Tachy 500 scale came in late 68 with the 072/02/01 reference, but without squares. The shown watch is a 072/001. But as allways, I am happy to learn new things.

Thats the only other one I have in my "archive".



Speaking of earlier 072/001 reference. The handset of the offered watch at ebay is wrong in my opinion. It should have left the factory with paddle hands. Possible explanation for hands and bezel is a service. Maybe this bezel was kind of a late service replacement.

Sure Nico, maybe at the Weekend (I still Hope for a good Deal). I think you have a good hint. I got an Idea what might be the case with these, but here is not a good place for discussions. You know, the Internet Takes Things for facts which are Thesis and that spoils many things

Not for me. You should never take a Theorie for real, because it's a Theorie. For that i am too much scientific and my live is based on facts.
Too hard to to accuse something to be wrong when it is correct. Done that and Been there. Not anymore.

Doesn’t theory imply it’s not true until it’s proven ? But without a theory you never find the proof. My 2 cents.

Hi, I bought the watch. Spend a little more than I wanted (urgs) but I am excited for my first graph. Once I have the watch I think I will try to take some closeups inside and out. I would love some comments if I should try to restore it to its original state or leave it like this (I love the rough look).
