As far as I have noticed, this one over at Chrono24 was up for sale for about one day and is now reserved:

Asking price $9,720.00

S/N 9406?7, possibly 940627.

Not many photos, but appears to be in good shape with the exception of some rust on the central hours and minutes hands.

The photos show the case open and yet the seller did not indicate the correct year of manufacture. It should be stamped 12-66

There is another Mark III listed on Ebay as of this post which has a similar asking price but in poor condition overall.

Edit: 12-66, of course. (or possibly 6-66?)

They ‘listed’ it on their Instagram account about a week ago: Antiquarius

Interesting . . .

At Chrono24, the seller is shown as Watches of Knightsbridge LTD.

Is WoK the same firm as Antiquarius?

Both are in London, so perhaps the entity uses two names?

Main hands (hour and minute) and chrono seconds hand are wrong. The hour/minute hands are likely from an earlier Sherpa Graph and the chrono seconds hand could be.

Everything else looks OK to me. Not sure if the serial # is correct for a Mark IV.

It's a Mark IV

S/N is 1030874 which places it toward the high end of the 10301xx to 10309xx range.

According to what we see on Nico's site, the inside case back should be stamped 9-67.

As Gopher mentions, it should have baton style central minutes and hours hands and the central seconds would probably be a red lollipop hand, otherwise an orange arrow style.

The 30-miute subdial hand is usually painted orange, but we've seen them painted black as well.

so yes, its kind of messed up. there was another mk4 for sale on one of the forums, that was in top shape, with an original enicar oyster band, and a lot of extras, that was alot better than this one for about the same price.

is this what would be called a franken watch? or maybe not so bad, just the wrong hands? also i dont think that band was original. I would not buy this watch at that price, but as has been said " there are all kinds of watches at all kinds of prices", so to each his/her own. my observations are that when there is a good watch at a fair price on C24, it moves fast. There are many watches that stay on C24 for months to years and never sell. For this reason i have set the bit that just because some seller ask a price for this watch or that, doesnt mean thats what it sells for. you can ask alot for a watch, but if it doesnt sell, its clearly not the market value.

As noted by Joe, my research of Sherpa Graphs over the years indicates most Mark IV examples came with the orange triangle chrono seconds hand and orange hand in minute register, but some have a black minute-subregister hand. The red lollipop seems to have been used on earlier Mark IVs only and all but one of these that I have seen has a black hand in the minute subregister.

That one unusual example is mine, an early Mark IV with lollipop chrono seconds hand and orange minute-register hand. I will post more about it once I get some good photos to share. Serial # on mine is legible and correct for Mark IV.

mgernhar: Yes, I would call that example a Frankenwatch as it seems to use legitimate Enicar parts but is mixing from different models. None of the parts appears fake to me. The chrono seconds hands is the most questionable but that could be off a Mark I or II.

I agree 100% re: C24. I have bought a few pieces from the site over the years including my Mark IV referenced above but you need to wade through a ton of massively-overpriced pieces to find the fair ones. I have found most sellers willing to negotiate, in some cases by 20%. Obviously the longer a piece sits the more apt to negotiate. But even then some sellers are delusional. This is not limited to C24. I find eBay as bad or worse.
