Just wondered if anyone had opinions or information on this Sherpa Graph clone as advertised
currently on ebay.

I rather like them, but were they really made in the Enicar factory or Omega maybe ?
Are the cases EPSA ?
Were they cheaper than a Sherpa Graph ?
They look excellent value compared to a 36mm Garnex ?

vandervenus must be credited with this article. Some really attractive watches in my humble opinion.
Opinions ?

Ever since seeing the article by Vandervenus I have been looking at these. In addition to Regines, DeSotos and Millions, there are other brands that pop up though I can't think of another off hand at the moment. What they appear to have in common is a nameplate applied as if they were interchangeable.

This DeSotos is currently listed on Chrono24 and there is another just like it as well as a brown Regines.

As you can see below, this one does have a typical 14-sided (tetradecagon) EPSA case:

My understanding is that the Valjoux 726 movement is similar to the 72 except that it beats at 21,600 instead of 18,000, so upgraded a bit and was introduced around 1972. This would mean that the "cousins" are generally younger that any pre Mark IV graph..

Information on the 726 here:

Hey guys,
As far as I know these aren’t EPSA cases. First sign is allways the crown. Almost every EPSA case watch I know has the famous waffle crown. I also tend to remember that the inside of the caseback is not marked with EPSA and that these are simple screw casebacks, not bayonet.

What they are is often a good value for the buck- with the nice Sherpa Graph look.

Yes, the Desoto caseback is marked 'waterproof 5ATM' which indicates to me that it's a simple
screw back type case.
If the movements date to or after 1972 it's possible that Enicar made them under licence when they
stopped Sherpa Graph production. At that time they may have been concentrating on quartz and electric
watch design and production.

I stand corrected on the case, a sobering reminder not to jump to conclusions based on appearance alone. ;)

I reckon the 14-side look was meant to appear similar to the EPSA case.

Edit: Also notice the similarity to the lugs on the cases made for Enicar by EPSA especially as seen on the Primato. I suppose we may say that they are reminiscent of the real article.

Here is the brown Regines currently listed on Chrono24:
