Greetings everyone!

Newbie here but have been a watch collector for over two decades! After much lust, I just purchased my first Enicar - a Sherpa Jet - from a seller in the US for a great price (probably what they sold for 5 years ago). I'd love your thoughts/ concerns as I await its arrival. A few open question marks for me are:

1) Crowns don't have the # markings but do have the logo. Are they original?

2) The metal brace has a rear support missing in between the lugs. Can this be repaired or replaced? IF so, what size should I be looking for?

3) The seller stated that the watch has been serviced. Should I worry about authenticity?

4) What would a watch in this condition normally sell for? (I have checked the barometer but wasn't sure I had found my answer there).

Many thanks in advance!

Wugod is right unfortunately. Have a look at the word Sherpa and compare it to correct ones. Did this come out of India by any chance? Or Australia as they are shipped there in bulk from India by a particular seller to sell on. You see a lot of that there as well as the chequered GMT hand being repainted as this one has.

It's difficult to tell if the crowns are correct. There's some similar looking ones shown on the Mark II's here: https://thespringbar.com/blogs/guides/enicar-sherpa-pilot-2-crown-models/#THE_JET

Well, you say it was cheap. Jet dials and hands do turn up. Have your watchmaker examine the watch to see how the movement is. If it is good, then you can track down the correct parts and have them fitted.
