correct, 8-58 it says ;) Did you got the watch in a box and was forgotten in a watchmakers drawer the last 60years? incredible condition (as far as the bezel is original and not swapped to a NOS one ;) )

No I bought the watch 3 years ago with the wrong bezel. When I saw it for the first time I immeditely fell in love with the beautiful dial and hands but I never really came over the wrong bezel so it has been laying in a drawer. I have been looking for a more correct one ever since and a couple of weeks ago I got lucky. Think the seller is a member here.

All it needs now is the red indicator ring.

Is that an original beads-of-rice bracelet? If so, what Enicar logo is on it?

No its a generic bracelet. According to the author of the book, Time for a change, the red pointer came 1 year later and that the bezel is correct without.

I think on that topic we still have to do some homework, cause no one knows for sure. Maybe one day... ;)

Do you have any info that points in other direction than: "This is the 1958 model of the Divette, a year before Enicar started to use the red pointer ring."?

I have a 36mm Diver 600 with an un-dated back. It has the red indicator ring. I thought the small Diver 600s came before the Divettes. Love to learn more though.

Here are som more info about the 600 from the springbars Enicar collection guide:

"This is a 1958 model Diver 600 which is 36mm diameter and has a Caliber AR1034 movement. The 0/60 marker on the bezel is narrow, and there are large dots at 15,30,45 and 60 (two dots) on the bezel. The hands have a broad lume applied as in the advertisements on the left. This and other early models did not have the red rotating ring between the crystal and bezel, which was added later. "

The Springbar is a great source, but most of their information they got from the internet, not from actual documents or catalogs. Thats why I am a bit careful on that topic. We know for sure, that the Diver 600 in 36 and 40 and the Dive in 40mm with bakelite bezel (from 1957-1960, also looks like this was an option parallel to the alloy bezel!) didnt had a red ring. Maybe Divettes too, if they had a bakelite one (cant remember seeing a Divette with it, just 36mm Diver 600). There are also early watches from 58 with alloy bezel, but small lume dots at 3-6-9, that I havnt seen with a red ring. Cause they followed the bakelite, or cause they were broken? I don't know, we don't have documentation on that at the moment. Interesting thing is, that almost all watches with alloy bezel have a relativly big gap between the bezel and the crystal.

than there is also this model: https://uhrforum.de/threads/enicar-sherpa-dive-120-124-baanxs-teil-1.81916/#post-1062232

Build in 1958, also alloy bezel (though another variation) from first owner with...a red ring.

All I am saying is...the Dive watches and their variations are still a mystery. I hope that with the larger knowledge about this brand, more catalogs and documents will come to light and we will find more answers (another topic are the endless dial variations in just a few years!)

I have been looking for other pictures of the same watch/dial config I have but have only found the two at the springbar site. I don't think the book have any. Do you know any other? Always nice to know as much as possible about the watches, like which bezel it should have ;)

Here the pictures from the springbar (https://thespringbar.com/blogs/guid...de-part-1-single-crown-models/#SHERPA_DIVETTE)

Same hands and dial. No pointer ring ;)
