Always been facinated by other watch enthusiasts choices of watches, we alI I think have a secret most wanted watch or watches lurking about in the back of our minds, some financialy achiveable and some not , mabye some of you have achieved this aim, me personally I have luckily got most of mine including a number of Enicars. My most wanted in Enicar would be a pristine Ultradive and other brands would have be these two.

Zenith Chrono Ref:A3736

Breitling Superocean Ref: 2005

I had the Superocean version it was NOS but traded it for an Omega 1000MT diver which again was a most wanted.

Thanks. The Superocean is definitely on my list too. Paired with a moss-green or hunter-green strap, it’s perfection.

I’ve been hunting for that Witty exotic dial for a long time. They’re very elusive.

Although I always feel like I’m cheating on my wife when I search for non-Enicars:)

Is it this one. If so thats a nice watch can see why it would be on your most wanted.
Do what I do with my wife and say " what this old watch had it for years youv'e seen it before", works every time

That is indeed the one.

I’ve not been able to confirm through research, but it seemed that Wittnauer did not make a lot of these. Early 70s, when things were going downhill for the brand.

In some ways it’s nothing exceptional—the case was one that Witty used for decades and the movement is the 14y (Landeron 248). Fine but not horologically significant.

but the dial design just knocks me out. someone had fun creating this one, and it shows. It actually looks a little like a clown face.

my hunt continues. One came up for sale on the forums in 2013 and Analog/Shift sold the same one some years later. (They actually had 2–and they sold fast)

Speaking of Zeniths, I will add one more to the pile: The Zenith Defy 28800. A fellow Enicar collector turned me on to this recently, and I've been keeping my eyes out for good examples ever since:

The Witty dial design is pretty cool and reminisent of many of Breitlings and Heuers designs of around the same era, The sloted hands are great.

Zenith Defy is cool  again big and bold love the dial colour and case shape, bit like a Omega Speedmaster 125, hope your hunt for your most wanted goes well.

Not bought anything in a long while so memories of the hunt are fading fast (y) Need to get moving on an Ultradive soon as prices escalating all the time(n).
I remember the days when Enicars were pretty resonable most of mine are NOS and the most expensive I ever paid was around £700 for NOS Jet Graph now about 8-9 times that to buy.

That is so beautiful! And I bet if you decided to sell you’d make a nice profit and it wouldn’t take that long to sell. Also: dibs 😆

One of the things that made me fall in love with Enicar was the brand's bold and fearless design aesthetic. These models in your lineup are some of the very best representations of that. There's no mistaking them. They're here, they're Enicar, and they're not messin' around. :)

Agreed, big bold and colourfull no mistaking Enicar for any other brands,
Iv'e always been a bit of a supporter of the underdog and first became facinated by Enicar after reading some of the very early and few and far between info on the internet. At the time I also had a watch book that featured a picture of a Jet Graph so I decided to give this relativly unknown brand in the UK a go, at the time I was looking for a Heuer Autavia GMT 2446C and it struck me how similar the Jet and Autavia GMT were so I decided to go for the Jet Graph .
Boy am I glad I did as you say the design aesthetic is very bold and at the time I was mainly into vintage Omega Heuer and Breitling when the Jet graph arrived I was astounded at the quality of the whole watch which was easily the match of any of the Omega's and Breitlings I had and the rest is history i think the only watches i will purchase now will be Enicar with the exception of the 2 Most Wanted above.

I feel the same way. I would put Enicar’s build quality and attention to detail up against any of those big boys.

Speaking of Heuer, one regret I have is selling my Heuer Daytona. I picked mine up at a time before they started to climb... it’s so underrated still,

Yes another great watch and agree it is underrated, there always seems to be one that seems to get overlooked in a range for its more flashy brothers, would be a great buy for collectors. I have The Breitling Transocean which uses a similar case and integrated bracelet set up.

Too many to list!! That is why I fell in love with Enicar... the colours, the bold design, so "70s. And as already mentioned, which other brand was this bold back then? Breitling... the 2115 is so....Enicar-ish :ROFLMAO:.
But no colour, but still 70s, has to be the 765 AVI

Aww man you are making me so jealous, the AVI is another design classic and actually a very beautifully proportioned watch, lots going on on the dial but so legible (y)(y)
