I don't think I've ever seen one of these models for sale in such lovely condition. The cases are normally quite worn, so this would be a lovely catch for someone.

I can't justify another watch purchase just yet unfortunately

It was the back lid that made me think bad thoughts…
Rather unusual as a model I guess too…?

Yep - correct. The Mantagraph's aren't that common anyway and this version even less so.

From my point of view, the crown is not suitable for this model.
Apart from the machined back, what disturbs me is that the broken part is black (it should be silver/alu).
At least this piece must have been repainted.

Good spot on the case Slim, I didn't see that. Must have been touched up at some point to hide it or the case was re-done perhaps as it fits the colour of the case a bit too well!

man that watch screams 70's, it would look right at home in a disco dance club. its in great condition but its no sherpa grap to each his own, i guess but not for me. I just got a NOS aquastar deepstar. Thats more my style and you almost never, if ever find one in this condition.
