Says this Jet is NOS:

Looks like a re-case to me with the wrong seconds and GMT hands. Appreciate your thoughts.

I guess the same as you. NOS cases for the Jet can be found in any quantity. The movement would be more interesting. I wonder if it is NOS too?

It's just been re-cased which is very poor form. Would have been a fairly poor condition Jet before popping it in the new case. GMT hand is clearly worn and would have been correct. The date wheel is also a dead give away. Heavily aged and used which would indicate the movement itself is in pretty poor condition.

I think the black has just been worn off the GMT hand maybe. The seconds hand is definitely wrong though.

Agree about the seconds. Haven't seen a GMT hand worn that way, chipped to bare metal or rusty, yes.

It's actually happened a bit to the GMT hand on my Jet Graph. Hand wasn't placed low down enough and rubs the hour hand as it goes around. I'll need to replace it at some point.

I thought I could still see black paint on that Sherpa Jet but can't see it now on my phone 😂

That watch is ruined!

Don't worry, I'm here for you! Let me take it off your "hands" so you won't suffer any longer. ;-)

(Next to the Guides, the Jet Graph is my favourite -- can't afford one though. Lovely watch, enjoy)
