First Enicar

New to forum, so bare with me. Just picked this watch the other day. Know a little about the brand but have been unable to find this particular model. Info on the back reads Enicar Ocean Pearl. Has Dolphin and Saturn embossed on back. Screw threat scalloped back. With. 140-39-03B. Stainless steel Incabloc. If anyone can help with date, would really appreciate it. Value, not important as it is keeping great time, but still curious. Thank you in advance.

Nice looking watch. I really like the sans-serif Arabic numbers. In this 60s catalog:

Scroll down (page 27) and you will find the same watch without the inner 13-24 markings. The extra markings would have been for someone who works using a 24 hour clock, such as a nurse or a doctor. Value? Hard to say. Maybe a $100 to $150 if it is very good shape?

So is it safe to say this is original. Paid $24 Cdn for it so it was definately worth the gamble. Unable to check movement as I do not have anything to give enough friction to open back. Keeps good tome, although running between +/- 30-40 seconds per day.

Hard to go wrong with any running watch for just $24.
