Hello everyone,

I am very new in this formu and hope someone can help me.

I inherited the following Enicar, which as far as I can know has never been serviced but is still working fine.
After quite a lot of research I couldnt figure out which exact model it is,
How much could it be worth and is it worth getting it serviced.

Many thanks for your help.

Hey Niki,

depends on what you want to do with the watch? If you want to sell it, don't service it. The price of a Service (depends on where you live, can be 100, can be 300$) is basically the value of the watch. Its a less sought after dress watch, most of the collectors prefer the Diver and Chronograph models.

Thanks Nico,

Exctly what I wanted to know. I guess I will ask for the price to get it serviced and if its not too crazy expensive I'll do that and just keep the watch.

How do you know it's never been serviced ? If it's keeping good time it may not need it.
A good honest watchmaker will be able to tell you. Let him remove the back and don't
try it yourself.
Brevet 314962 tells us that it appears to be an EPSA Super Compressor bayonet release.
Even so , I would imagine the resale value to be circa £ 80 - 120.
Good Luck.
