Enicar Ocean Pearl day date from 70? Should I repair?

This was in my brother’s collection. I was given all of his watches. It runs but has an obvious flaw that needs repair. (See pics)
He and I grew up together in the 70s so the sentimental value feels stronger for it. Will it cost more to repair than it’s worth? Not sure where or how to go about the repair if I move forward.
Any help or direction appreciated.
Than you.

Easy enough repair for a real watchsmith, ask about for the best watch maker in your greater locality.

I'd say it's worth the effort and that's before taking into account the sentimental value. That said, will likely cost $150-$200 with service and when it's done it would not be worth a great deal more than that - maybe $350~$400??

Original signed clasp bracelet is a nice bonus and what tips over the value proposition of getting it repaired (imho).

Everything about the case and dial design just screams early-mid 70's.

Thanks for the response…I almost hate it but I just can’t because it is so unapologetically retro which make me kind of love. It. I think I know where to go with it. I think I will go ahead and repair. Thanks again.

Hello friends,
What do you think about this watch? where do i get the knob? If so, what is the value of this watch? Many thanks for your comments.

This is a so called Enicar "Garnix" which means "nothing" and refers to the missing name on the dial. I would ask my watchmaker to install a matching (if possible) or two new similar pushers on the watch. New Old Stock Pushers are not available.
