Have the opportunity to buy an ENICAR Memostar. But do not have much idea about this model. Can you help me with tips on what I have to pay special attention? Attached are a few pictures.

Another additional question about the value of such a watch. At Chrono24 and also at various other sellers, the more common blue variant is usually offered at around € 3500.00. Is this completely silver variant now worth more due to its rarity? Are these prices realistic at all? I have seen expired sales from the past at significantly lower prices.

But is actually called, regardless of whether you think it's a joke. What do you think would be a realistic price? That would be an information that would bring me further than your laughing flash.

or here in the past $2650 descibed as "modest" https://www.vintageenicar.com/post/enicar-memostar-alarm-automatic-watch-298-01-01

Oh yes, thank you so much, great source! That I have not thought of it myself, where I even have the book here. The offer for the watch pictured is € 2000 that should be realistic then, because it looks really very good.

If you buy a watch in an auction you have to pay the commission in addition to the hammer price. If it then comes from Switzerland to Germany, it must also be cleared and taxed. the shown watch would have come all together to about € 1600. Sure cheaper than € 2000 but still not worlds. I will still renegotiate.

Yes, I agree with that overall. But it is very difficult to evaluate such a rarely traded watch like a Memostar, which is also available in a rare version. Therefore, I thank you all for the feedback, that has brought me in any case new insights for further negotiation.

Agreed. And the one Antiquorum wasn't perfect when I look at it in detail now. Crowns don't look right.

I recently bought omega (same model) at an auction in sweden and paid approx 1,6k eur - most of these models are valued around this sum. Of course, who loves enicar - might be willing to pay more as i see them rarely for sale in great condition.

Case still has sharp lines, no obvious polishing. Use marks are good for age. Dial appears crisp. Clean & tidy movement. A lot to like.

I'd offer 1.6 as anchor price. A ~€2k strike price would seem a pretty fair price v's alternate mechanical alarms of similar pedigree.
