Seems high to me as well.

Note that the seller states it is the larger 40 mm size whereas the same model number item listed on Chrono24 is listed as 37 MM. It's not an Ultra or a Super?

Enicar Sherpa Jet Compressor Watch

Also a bit high at 4,949 USD

Another one that seems overpriced on Chrono24 . . . an Aqua Graph at 10,900 USD.

And it is not perfect:

Very.

Their first sentence leaves a lot to be desired in their Enicar expertise too!

"Vintage 1973 Enicar Sherpa Super Dive. 144 35 02. With the larger 40mm stainless steel case, plexiglass glass."

It's not a Super Dive (although the reference on the caseback would suggest so - these were actually correct for the Mark II Jets). It's 36.5mm as it's not a Super Jet.

Still, lovely condition. Just very, very pricey.

EDIT: You beat me to it Joe!

That's waaaaaay too high for that one as well.

If the serial number is readable on the one below, it may be worth the asking price:

Enicar Aqua-Graph

Prices seem to be quite variable, but for examples that apprach $10,000, I would expect something that looks very well cared for with an espcially nice dial.

I've stayed away from the rotatable bezel watches simply because the worn bezel puts me off.

Every now and then one finds a good one.

Here's one that Nico sold end of last year:

Aqua Graph Ia

And the seller describes the EPSA case back as a 'snap back'. Like to see him do that.
Interesting, as it's also a 1969 compressor case with the deep engraving and 'sea waves'.
Same year and hands as my 1969 Super Jet.
I always valued a Sherpa Graph and an Aqua Graph pretty well the same.
You can ask whatever you want when selling a watch, but are Aqua Graphs out
pricing Sherpa Graphs in the real world or just wishful thinking ?

I see it as Jet Graph and Aqua Graph with the Sherpa Graphs underneath. Of course you then have the white dial Graphs to take in to account and the rarer variants of the Sherpa Graph.

Not so sure Steve. I would value Aqua's similar to Sherpa Graphs.
2 Aqua's on ebay just now, one with a blue dial - both asking circa £ 5500.00 and neither sold.
Yet this Graph, with what looks like a totally shaved caseback with interesting painted case back logo
and incorrect crown managed £ 4500. Very nice dial and the vendor must have been well chuffed to achieve that ?
This was the sold price, not asking with make an offer.

In my experience the value chain is the following: Early Sherpa Graph - Super Graph- later Sherpa Graph- Aqua Graph - Jet Graph.

Especially the early Sherpa Graph are way more expensive then the rest. For the rest, condition is King and sets the price.

Talk about ambitious pricing!

Coupled with an inaccurate and misleading description.

Yep saw that Joe. Thought it was a bit bonkers and was going to do some research before I commented.

That's interesting you guys put the Sherpa Graph above the Jet and Aqua.

I'd like a white dial graph at some point I think. I fell in love a little bit with Nico's 1c  beautiful.
