Hello everyone.
I am very new here and this is actually my first post. I have this Enicar watch for some time but I never managed to identify it properly. I would like to know more about it and I hope the community here can help me with that. I will just drop pictures here, If you need more pictures or more information please ask I will try to supply as much data as I can. Number on the caseback is: 2165-39-56

Thank you all in advance.

I would say it is a watch produced by the Chinese company that bought the Enicar name after the Swiss company folded.

It is possible. It has Chinese as a second day wheel language. Do you have any idea what time period it may be?

The SWISSETA CALIBRE on the bottom of the dial tells me it's from the Wah Ming Hong era, so definitely after 1987.

Is this considered even as a proper Enicar then? Doesn't sound like. Still a good looking watch tho.
Does anyone has any idea what may be the value of it?

Depends what you mean by proper. If you collect watches from the Swiss company, then, no. It's still a nice watch with a Swiss movement though...

You basically answered. thanks. I have it for couple years but now I am considering sale because I have too many watches in my boxes. 😅

The ETA movement would indicate it’s from the current Enicar company.

No, in the last days Enicar used the ETAs instead of their own movements (like the whole industry did). Not sure if Oensingen (where the calibre factory was) was allready closed, but these watches are the last "true" Swiss Enicar ones. Here is a movement shot from a similar watch of a friend of mine:

Thank goodness for that, I was initially sure it was genuine enicar as I had a few many yrs ago and was doubting myself and the AR on the movement confirms it. great. Maybe not in house AR but still an original Enicar.

Good, as Jim said, this is one of the later Enicars with an ETA movement but shown with an Enicar stamp AR. it is genuine just not with an earlier in house enicar movement
