I caught up with Martin Klocke the CEO of Sherpa Watches.

He had a lot to say about the brand, the Vintage Enicar influence and everything that made this possible.

thank you Mat!
I was really fun talking to you.
So much so that I did not check that I put the Mic input into overdrive.
so my voice is quite distorted.

I hope people can still follow with comfort.

This was a nice interview— learned a bit about the diligence you and your team took in reviving and refining vintage technologies like the super compressor EPSA bayonet case design, as well as the crowns and internal bezel mechanism. And 0.6 mm thinner than the original. Wondering where in the US it might be possible to try one of these on?

Hi Horologic2020,

thank you for liking it! I appreciate your nice comments.
Well, so far we do not have a retailer in the USA, but this might change.
There are some watches in the USA, but only at end customers.

Where are you located?

All the best

Located in Boston, but travel frequently to EU. NYC would probably be a good place for a dealership I would imagine?

Please contact me via our email address given on the website or on instagram next time you come to Europe!
Especially when coming to Germany. Maybe we could meet.
Yes, NYC would be a good place to have a dealer, but let's see how this develops.
Dealers are often not very open to new brands.

Best regards,
Martin
