Has anybody ever seen one of these or know how many were produced. Interesting watch I took in trade a while back.P1017674.JPG

I have seen several of these and also have two spare dials. I guess they were true Blue Angel watches, ineresting the dials appeared ins Switzerland. Maybe left overs. No Idea about production numbers though.

In this post, and in the 1973 Jet advertisement, you can read that the Jet was chosen as the watch for the Blue Angels pilots. Yours is probably from the same period, celebrating this collaboration.

As of today, I’ve managed to collect 6 different serial numbers of this jet. Even if that doesn’t answer your question since it’s a different model from yours.

Looks like I never read the Ad in detail ;) . Great info! But the watches I have seen were non GMT watches, more like the 600DD.

Pic from 1971. Left Pilot watch is a hot candidate. Pilot was Harley Hall.

One more, same Pilot.

and another:

Harley Hall was shot down in 1973 and was the last shot down pilot of the Vietnam war:

Great, these are photos, Nico.

Indeed, in the photos: white dial, single crown, it looks more like the Sherpa Date 600, and yet in the Jet ad (136 35 05) 'the official watch chosen by the US Navy Blue Angels flight demonstration pilots!' ... I need to find a photo with this jet. #newenicarmystery
