Antiquorum Auction

Thought I'd give a heads up on this: https://catalog.antiquorum.swiss/en/lots?q=enicar

A few Enicar's in there but beware as Antiquorum have had issues with their auctions in the past. Just be careful and know what you're bidding on if you do.

I always find it amazing the almost lack of effort auction houses put in to their online auction brochures. Just one photo and not much of a description... the Jet Graph for instance looks good and aside from a couple of spots of wear on the bezel, looks great. No shot of the movement, crown, caseback, side profiles or anything... It does have the solid red dot seconds counter that Joe has been talking about recently, so could be a replacement.

Like most auction houses Antiquorum will provide a condition report with additional pictures if you contact them.
I did last year and received very detailed information within two days.

If I read the terms of sale correctly, the buyer's premium is 30%, so quite a significant premium.

The Jet Graph sold for 7,000 CHF plus 30% = 9,100?
The Sherpa Graph sold for 3,700. Listed with a Mk II reference, appears to be an all-black Mark III
A Divette sold for 1,000
A Super Dive sold for 2,000

Prices I see are different...

Jet Graph - CHF 8,750
Sherpa Graph - CHF 4,625
Divette - CHF 1,250
Super Dive - CHF 2,500

All 25% above the ones you posted Joe, so perhaps it's the sold price plus 25% buyers fee?

I'm confident your numbers are correct, Steve.

Mine were written down while watching the auction and all of the above are hammer prices. I assumed x 1.30 while the actual buyer's premium appears to have been 25%.

Interesting numbers though. Some very strong numbers the other day in the Phillips auction for some Heuer models. I didn't really see the Antiquorum auction advertised anywhere really though.

Crazy commission prices for such little work.
Also, I stopped buying ebay from North America years ago. By time the watch
arrives and tariffs and vat are added plus vat on the post charges and post office
clearance charges are paid you are looking at an additional 32 % to the buying price.
South Americans are different and often 'help' to minimize costs. They seem to know 'what's what' without asking.
Whilst we are still in the EU, I will only buy from UK, EU and South America.

Question: Is anyone here still able to see the selling prices of the November 10th auction?

I had registered to bid through Invaluable.com as I have an account there and I have used the service from time to time. I'd briefly thought to bid on the Gallet Flying Officer, but in the end I decided not to bid on anything.

I've been able to log in and get results, but it seems that recently, Invaluable decided to charge an annual fee of 200 USD just for the privilege to see prior results.
