Despite my mentioning that prices on Chrono24 are negotiable, this assumes that a listing is languishing for a long enough period of time when the seller decides to make an adjustment.
A Japanese seller put up two silver sub-dial Mark IIs within the past 24 hours and the better of the two sold immediately and is now gone without a trace.
It would appear that the one on the right sold for the listing price.

and the "left-over"
If one is willing to spend $9K for a watch that is in barely OK condition at best, why hesitate when for 20% more one can get a near-perfect example.
Personally, I am holding out for an early Mark I.
Cheers,
Joe
