The thread title is the gist of the matter, but below I will tell the tale that goes with it.
I've been sending my watches for full service to RGM in Mt. Joy, Pa for a number of years now and each time, the watch comes back running like new. Like most watchmakers, but not all, RGM states that...
Have a look at this one:

The serial number of the case back suggests a Ib, S/N 409237.
The date stamp seems to be correct.
The movement is an early...

What is especially interesting about this watch is that it is offered up as a one-owner watch with full set. It's the first full set offer I have seen...
Saw this and knew it would be gone in the blink of an eye . . .

Went for $4,995.00
Why didn't I buy it?
I thought about it for a few moments and...
Just documenting this one . . .
Perhaps Nico does not have 940812?
This watch is in especially good condition overall with an especially fine case, case back, and dial. The central minutes and hours hands and subdial hands have rust. This watch has he potential to be a 9 out of 10 with a new...
Let's start with a photo:
It looks to me as this watch did not start off life with skeletal hands.
Either the luminous material is original, was added very early on, or a true 'artiste' added the luminous material to make it look as though Kenneth Branagh is Hamlet and did not merely play...
Yes, this is the "Escrow" thread.
Rather than to start a new thread. I thought to just continue this one.
And here it is!
There will be more photos over time. of course.
The case back is in pretty good shape.
The mirror-like finish captured a photo of my thumb. ;)
I got rid of...

If I did not own a Mark III in comparable condition (except for the case back where mine is quite scratched) this would be of serious interest for me.
This watch has a correct 12-66 case back in...
I missed three watches so far, two in the past month and after all, I really only want just one! ;)
I'm not being unreasonable!
The first one appeared on FB a while back, available from a guy who lives about a 15-minute drive from where I live in New York. By the time I saw it on FB, a...

Very clean and no sign of case back molestation. Some scratches on lugs.
The case back is the cloverleaf type which carried until 6-62 on the mark Id and the inside case back is stamped 6-62.
We cannot...
I'm hoping to find one, one day.
If anyone is selling, I'm interested.
Here is one that showed up on Chrono24 and it was probably put on reserve in minutes, and well before I saw it!
Upon seeing this, I beginning kicking myself. ;)
Case, dial, hands, crown all look pretty darn good...
Is it me or are we suddenly seeing more Graphs popping up lately than we have in the last couple of years?
One caveat . . . I don't think even Steve can read the serial number on this one, though the seller will likely reveal the S/N to a seriously interested potential buyer.
The back is a...
I'm considering making an offer on this one myself, but if you beat me to it, I won't cry. ;)
So what do we think of this one:
The 835 serial number makes sense, but the "8" looks a little dodgy.
There aren't any movement shots, but who would want anyone to scratch that fine case back...
This is a potential solution looking for the right problem to solve!
Over the years, I have seen a small number of SG Mk IIIs with Mark IV case backs, but until today, I had not found a Mark IV with a Mark III case back. :)

As far as I have noticed, this one over at Chrono24 was up for sale for about one day and is now reserved:
https://www.chrono24.com/enicar/enicar-sherpa-graph-300-mk-iii-chronograph-jim-clark-vintage-valjoux-72--id22231973.htm
Asking price $9,720.00
S/N 9406?7, possibly 940627.
Not many...
I noticed what appears to be a S.G. Ic listed on Chrono24, listed by Lorologiese.
https://www.lorologiese.com/en/home/1421-enicar-sherpa-graph-mk1-jim-clark-original-1962-chronograph-cal-valjoux-72.html
I've not bought anything from them, but what I often see with them is that there are...
So this is interesting, I think, especially if one does not own a Mark III:

It is mentioned in the write-up that the screw...
The article posted here on the subject of four watch brands being brought back from the dead, in addition to discussiong Sherpa - representing the original Enicar - mentioned Airain, Excelsior Park and Tornek-Rayville.
The new Airain Type XX, appears quite faithful to the original Airain Type...
I know very little about the Aqua Graph. Most of what I have learned I've read on Nico's Enicar 101 site.
After posting about the differences between the early Valjoux 72 movements used in the pre-1963 Graphs versus the later V.72 movements equipped with mobile stud carriers, I happened upon...
