Any issues with Sherpa graph 1d?

Not long ago, I thought that all Mark Id watches had the small transitional logo (smaller than the Mark III) as well, but we learned from Nico of at least one exception . . . and that is for the Marl Id in gray & white, similar to the Mark Ic gray and white. Here is the only one I have seen for...

Any issues with Sherpa graph 1d?

Here is what I see . . . On the negative side first: The movement looks appropriate as to vintage, but the slotted or minus-head screws have been molested with the careless use of a screw driver and there are a couple of scratches on the bridge. Neither of these observations suggests anything...

    Is my Enicar Ultrasonic legit?

This may not be a hard and fast or sure way to tell w/o opening the case, but so far as I have seen, the bayonet cases have a "I" and a "0" on the edge of the back meant to line up with a single stem or in the case of my Super Jet, one of the two stems. When the "I" lines up, the case is locked...

    Enicar love by IKEA

I "broke down" and decided to order one myself. This in the description offended me: "Your own planet in recycled plastic. What a dream for little space fans! This one can also shine in 7 different colors, so your child can choose a favorite or let the LED table lamp switch automatically."...

Enicar Super Jet 33 Mk I

. . . a couple more shots which are intended to show how the light plays with the dial among other things! The case back is polished a bit, but everything is there even if a bit faint . . . I'm liking it so far . . . . . . I may hang onto it for a while! ;) Cheers, Joe

Thank you. I'll have to start paying more attention to Japan-based watch sources.

Enicar Super Jet 33 Mk I

Came in early . . . The photo does not do justice to the sheen of the silvery center, but the watch at 40 mm wears very well. The condition of the original beads of rice bracelet was a very pleasant surprise as well. More photos to follow . . .

Enicar Super Jet 33 Mk I

These things take a while . . . Watch arrived in the states two weeks ago . . . Furnished the watch worksheet to DHL last week while I was on Curacao. This week I paid the small duty and expediting charges. Watch should be in my hands for an unboxing the beginning of next week! Cheers, Joe

Enicar Sherpa Graph Mark1b for sale in France

It seems to me that it would be hard to remove an engraving on the case back w/o removing the serial number unless the polishing-out were done in a limited area only with masking of some sort to protect everything else. The S/N is shallower than most or all of the standard engraving. I would...

Enicar Sherpa Graph Mark1b for sale in France

Beautiful albino IB S.G. I'd love to see a photo of the case back just to see whether it's in as fine a shape as the rest of the watch. It is stamped correctly on the inside so, I'd expect a near-perfect case back with an expected serial number. If I were a buyer. I'd request a photo of the...

Enicar Super Jet 33 Mk I

First I have to receive it! ;) Your dibs have been registered. The money went out last week and they've indicated they will add the loose links to the bracelet and service the watch. Fingers crossed that they don't make anything worse. I was tempted to to ask to have it shipped "as is," but...

Enicar Super Jet 33 Mk I

Thanks for the "heads-up." I am in the process of acquiring the watch as I have been on the look-out for a Super Jet for some time, not finding one in especially good condition generally until after someone else buys it. ;) This one seems especially appealing and the price seems reasonable...

Excelsior Park Redux? No, Not really - Color Me Disappointed!

Hi Enijean . . . The Breitling purchase of UG may be a differant kind of acquisition as Breiting paid a lot of money for the UG name - 70 million USD - and they intend to take their time developing entirely new watches up-scale from the Breitling line using newly developed in-house movements...

Sherpa Graph Mark I? Gray and White

Say, Nico, When may we all look forward to your wife not being at home again? She must be keeping close watch on you; pun intended. :) Edit: I was searching for something and this thread popped up. I'd forgotten about it a very long time ago, lol ;)

Sherpa Graph Id on Ebay - Albino

Nico is a busy fellow these days, but it seems that, among the small number of Mark Id documented watches, he has three in his database that are gray & white version Mark Id watches that have dials with the larger logo. Good to know. Apparently, so far, the all-white Mark Id watches...

Sherpa Graph Id on Ebay - Albino

Also . . . There is another watch for sale that has a legitimate early Mark Id case back, but has the appearance of a gray & white Mark Ic. Perhaps this is evidence that what we call a Mark Id is a transition watch on the road to the Mark II. Of course, all references are transition watches...

Sherpa Graph Id on Ebay - Albino

Stephane, not sure about your S/N range, but mine is a 56213x whereas the earliest known S/Ns start at 5617xx according to Nico's site. Mine is a late S/N in the range. I understand information about the Mark Id is "coming soon ™" on Nico's site. ;) The watch currently for sale is a 561xxx...
