Back from service by Peter Roberts, now with the correct hands :-) (White tropic is temporary till I find a good black replacement but gives the watch a great look)

I did - it's a reproduction. Not a bad one but I'm trying to locate a genuine crystal if possible.

Greetings! As you can see from the image, the seconds hand is a bit too short. The Mk 1b is currently being serviced by one of the greatest living Val. 72 watchmakers, but the hand eludes us. Anyone have one for sale? Cheers!

Thanks for sharing. I have reported the watch as fake to C24 as well. If anyone has a buying/ selling history with C24, please consider reporting the watches as fakes to C24 and asking them to ban the seller. They do this if more than 5 individuals file a report. It only takes a couple minutes...

Much appreciated. I'm really unaware of the market for this watch as I didn't buy it to sell it. My main focus now is to get it serviced by a well known Valjoux 72c master watchmaker before I enjoy it on the wrist!

We discussed the hands when purchasing the watch. I was made aware that they were replaced at some point. To me, they do not take away from the watch in the least when I have it on the wrist.

The hands look like they've been replaced for sure...but I think Frankenwatch is a bit too harsh given that it was purchased from such a well known collector.
